Wendy has an extensive background in corporate, estate planning, and employment law. Wendy assists with development of board membership, structure, and policies to align the board's capacity to carry out strategic marketing and development efforts. Parent of one 4J alumna and three current 4J students. EEF Board since 2009.
Jay Namyet, Vice-President
Chief Investment Officer, University of Oregon Foundation
An expert in Investment management, foundation management, and compliance, Jay assists EEF with assembling its marketing and development plan and budget as well as its development of a business and financial plan to carry that out. Parent of current 4J student. EEF Board, 2004 / since 2009.
Volker Engelbert, Treasurer
President, Lingohr & Partner North America, Inc.
His experience with investment advising, financial services, and business management means EEF's treasurer is an expert at developing and maintaining budgets and annual reports, as well as facilitating stock transactions and corresponding reporting. Parent of two 4J alumni and one current student, EEF Board since 2008.
Kristin Forrest, Secretary
Former elementary school teacher
As a former educator, Kristin provides important insight as EEF works with District 4J to identify district priorities and the most effective ways to meet the needs of individual schools and programs. Kristin also has a strong history of nonprofit volunteer leadership. Parent of two 4J alumni and one current 4J student. EEF Board since 2010.
Rebecca Kovach, Past President
Retired healthcare executive
With her background in hospital administration, several leadership positions in non-profit organizations, and extensive 4J volunteer involvement, Rebecca leads the organization in communication and collaboration with District 4J administration in identifying funding priorities and facilitating board involvement in collaboration with district and community leadership. Parent of two 4J alumni. EEF Board since 2010
Megan Capper, Director
Senior energy analyst, Eugene Water & Electric Board
Megan brings a strong sense of public, non-profit law and legislation and assists with EEF's community partnerships and visibility in the public sector. Parent of two current 4J students. EEF Board since 2009.
Dee Etzwiler, Director
Principal and commercial artist, designer
Dee is a self-employed business woman and adjunct assistant professor in architecture with the University of Oregon with extensive community arts involvement. As immediate past president, Dee provides important leadership in moving the strategic plan forward and development of the board to meet the needs of the marketing and development efforts. Parent of one 4J alumna and one current student. EEF Board past president, serving since 2009.
Teri Giustina, Director

With strong business awareness and connection, long-time involvement with University of Oregon, including co-chairing recent campaign for Ford Alumni Center, Teri's community ties and journalism education are valuable additions to EEF's marketing and development efforts. 4J alumna, parent of current 4J student. With years of experience in business management, insight into advertising and marketing, and strong business community connections.
