Keynote Speaker: Jeff Geiger
J. C. Geiger has eaten the beating heart of a snake, been deported from a full-moon party, and spent a short time locked in Bolivian prison. He also writes fiction. Geiger’s work has appeared internationally in various magazines and literary journals, and on stage at The Second City in Chicago. His debut novel, WILDMAN (Disney-Hyperion), earned the Kirkus Star and was recently named by Amazon editors as a Best Book of 2017. Prior to becoming a full-time author, Geiger worked as a handyman, political organizer, middle school instructor, theatre teacher, and homeless youth liaison for the Oregon Department of Education. He is also the father of 4J students and the spouse of a 4J teacher. We are thrilled to welcome him!
