The 2024-25 School Year Grant Cycle

Grant Applications for the 2024-25 school year is now closed!

Every year, EEF funds projects and programs across the district that provide access to an equitable and excellent education, foster a sense of belonging, and provide opportunities for every child to reach their greatest potential. Individual grants are available up to $5,000 for teachers/school staff and up to $10,000 for district-wide programs. See EEF’s priority funding areas below.

Who is eligible to apply? Eugene School District 4J educators and staff members of all kinds are invited to apply. If you have an idea for a project or program that will benefit 4J students, we want to hear from you! All applicants should notify their supervisor of their intent to apply for an EEF grant before submitting a proposal.

When? The application window for the 2024-25 school year grant cycle is now closed. All applications were due by May 5th at 11:59pm. Applicants will be notified of their award status in late June 2024. Award notifications will be made after the end of the 2023-24 school year. However, funds will be available for use by awardees before the start of the 2024-25 school year. This means awardees will have the entire school year to implement their programs!

How? In 2023, EEF adopted new grant software that makes applying for grants easier so educators can spend more time making learning happen in classrooms! Returning users will use the same login credentials created during the 2023-24 grant cycle to access the current application. New users will need to create a profile before applying. Step by step instructions are provided in the grant portal- click the button below to begin!
Note: Requests that include a technology or curriculum component must be approved by a member of the 4J Technology Department or Instruction staff. All requests that include a facilities improvement component must undergo a FIP approval process (be sure to include “EEF Grant” in the project description). Any applications that appear to have a technology, curriculum, or facilities improvement component will be reviewed by the appropriate department. EEF may disqualify proposals that have not received approval for their project.
